Access to the Member Dashboard is for members of the JCRC/CSAC that manage finances or events.
There are two levels of access:
College Signatory - This gives full access to the finance and events modules. This access is for JCRC/CSAC Signatories.
College Member - This gives access to the events module. This access is for Exec and Officers who organise events but are not Signatories.
To log in, head to the York SU website and click Student Sign In in the top-right corner. Log in using your University of York login details. Once you are signed in, Click the Member Dashboard in the top-right corner; the Dashboard should open in a new tab.
From here you can access various different pieces of information, including which societies / college committees you are currently a member of, and any purchases you have made through the website.
Under "my memberships" on the dashboard, you’ll have an option to manage your college committee - click that button to get to the Group Dashboard.
If you see the M01 error then this could mean that you are not currently enrolled at the University. Simply head over to e:Vision and enroll online. Please note that if you have enrolled within the last 48 hours then it is likely that we have not received your data from the University.
When 48 hours has passed and you still haven't managed to log in then please send an email to it@yorksu.org and we can manually reactivate your account.
To access the Member Dashboard, you will need to "purchase" a free membership of your college. Go to the York SU website, Communities & Leaders, Colleges, find your college, and click 'Memberships & Products'. Simply add the college membership to your basket and go through the checkout; this membership will then be added to your account.
You should now be able to sign into the Member Dashboard from the link at the top of the York SU Website. If you've completed this step, and still don't have access, please contact the Community Coordinator.
If you or a member of your committee change your name and update your "Chosen Name" on the University's systems, our systems will also update, but this may take some time (up to a month) - in the meantime the Student Dashboard will still use the incorrect name on member lists and event tickets.
You can, however, also change your name on York SU's systems yourself - sign in to the website, click the "Student Dashboard" button at the top of the page, navigate to the Settings tab on the left, then use the "Change First Name" field to change it. The change will need to be confirmed by a member of staff, but once this is done it will update immediately on the Student Dashboard for all groups you’re a member of.
